I know that I am Blessed!

I was talking with a friend today about the military. He's thinking of joining the Guard... what was interesting to me is that I found myself trying to persuade him to go active instead. You see, as a military spouse, I've become accustomed to the desires of staying in one place, wanting to go "home," and "hating the system." However, with the stronger realization that my time in the military as a spouse may come to an end, the more I realize how much I've come to love and depend upon it. I found myself convincing him of the benefits, and furthermore, reminding him how much the military families could use Jesus.

I guess you could say that I've learned to like moving every few years. Although I hate saying goodbye to friends and family, I enjoy the fact that there is a new opportunity to bless and be blessed around each new corner. A new adventure around each new "home." This year has been exceptionally blessed. Michael and I have learned how to love again (not just deal), Abigail is growing, our finances have been overflowing, and we've been blessed to be able to bless others. I forgot how great it can feel to watch others' joy and know that God's used you to help in that. As I look around me and see so many out of work, without food, and/or homeless, it's a pleasure to know that I can share a little of my blessing to help aid in their lives.

My questions to you are: Who have you blessed this Christmas season? How has God blessed you this year? Have you thanked Him?
